However, we would not challenge the durability of the gold plating too much and still advise you to avoid contact with seawater, perfume, cosmetics, chemical cleaning agents and skin perspiration. As gold plating is only ever a wafer-thin layer that can be worn away over time, we recommend careful handling – despite the high quality of the gold plating.
